The Faces of the Hill exhibition was a resounding success. Andrew Marr talked about the immense contribution exhibitions like this make to bolster community spirit and raise valuable funds for local initiatives. I overheard some wonderful conversations; people recognising each other from the book shop, cafe or pub, saying hello and introducing themselves. This is community – people of all backgrounds coming together through creativity.
